On August 30th, we had the honor of celebrating the 14th Annual CGCC Symposium, and we are delighted to share the success of this event with you.
This symposium provided an opportunity to bring together brilliant minds and renowned researchers from various universities and industries. Among our invited speakers, we had the privilege of hosting internationally acclaimed experts:
- Oliver Kappe from the University of Graz
- Jennifer Shomaker from the University of Madison
- Ghosal Subhasis from McGill University
- Alexandre Gagnon from UQAM
- High-caliber industry professionals, including Seb Caille from Amgen, as well as André Yvon Bessette and Anne-Catherine Bédard from Dow.
The event attracted over 150 participants from universities including Université de Montreal, McGill, Université Laval, Université de Sherbrooke, Concordia, UQAM, and Polytechnique.
Poster sessions were also a highlight of the symposium, showcasing the talent and creativity of researchers. We are pleased to congratulate the five winners of the best posters:

These young researchers shone brightly with their scientific excellence, making significant contributions to green chemistry and catalysis research.
