Co-Directeur
Université de Montréal
Regular Researcher
The research program led by Professor Lebel focuses on developing innovative and environmentally responsible synthesis methodologies. Her work focuses primarily on nitrogen compounds, which are essential not only in medicinal chemistry, but also in many other applications. Her team is working to design new catalytic processes and explore cutting-edge technologies such as continuous flow chemistry and photochemistry in order to develop novel transformations for the synthesis of important organic molecules. In addition, his group collaborates closely with electrochemists and engineers to develop electroactive organic molecules for energy storage devices, with the aim of optimizing the use of intermittent renewable energy sources.
