The principal interest of our research group is the synthesis of natural products with some emphasis on the efficiency and ‘green’ aspect of the sequence. This includes the development of methods like cascade reactions, of photochemical reactions and catalysis. The group is also involved, to a small extent, in natural product isolation and characterization as well as medicinal chemistry.
