Awarded amount: A refund of up to $1,500 can be granted upon presentation of supporting invoices

1. Goal:

The travel funds awarded by the Center in Green Chemistry and Catalysis CGCC aims to share and expand the students’ knowledge in green chemistry and sustainable development. The travel funds offer the opportunity for students to improve their communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Eligibility:

Students of the CGCC who participate or attend a conference featuring green chemistry (for example: homogenous catalytic reactions or recyclable heterogeneous catalytic reactions, green molecular synthesis, biochemical reactions using enzymes, catalytic transformations of biomass or any other related field …)

3. Selection Criteria:

• Contribution of the conference to the academic and professional training of the CGCC’s student.
• Academic excellence.
• Students who present an oral or a poster presentation at a conference featuring CGCC will be prioritized.
• The conference must be held before March 31, 2024.

4. Covered Expenses:

• Travel fees
• Accommodation fees
• Registration fees

5. Requirements:

Travel grant applications must include

• The application forms
• A half page abstract including comments on the contribution of the conference to the student development as a CGCC member (2 sentences maximum)
• A CV with a list of publications, presentations, and awards
